Julie's songs Jacob's Dream and Away Down The River were recorded by Alison Krauss on her most recent collection A Hundred Miles Or More, for which Julie recieved an honorary SESAC award. Both songs are also featured on the DVD, along with an interview of Julie and John Pennell about the writing of Jacob's Dream.

Julie, I cannot be more delighted to have found your music through Stacy Claude. I can't wait to come out and see you perform live at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC in September. Truly inspired and excited to have been blessed with hearing your beautiful voice, thoughtful lyrics and amazing talent!! Sincerely, Ellie LaBar

I just Skyped my sister Elizabeth Netsch (with Tim and the girls, of course), and when she mentioned you'd been over recently, I told them how I'd just been listening to one of your albums today. Rest assured that we're building your fan base here in Colorado. If you're ever interested in coming out here, I'd LOVE to put together a house concert! I so treasure your talent and your heart as it comes through your music. Many thanks for the skill, bravery and openness you share with all of us. I truly hope that our paths will cross one day. ~Emily

Speechless from last night. A One of a kind music event.
Julie, I have a video of "A Hundred Miles or More" for you. What's the best way to send it? An email address will work even though it's a big file.
I posted two videos from last night on my FB site today, but it has restricted access. You can, however, go to Shannon's page to see them.

Hi Julie! just wanted to let you know again how much I enjoyed talking with you and hearing you sing this week. Your song transcended where you were writing it from in your heart to where I was listening from my heart in my own circumstance. Such genuine songwriting and crafting of word and feeling. When I came to your site and your voice could be heard, my almost 4 year old said, "Is that Arielle?" Her favorite by far...we will be visiting your site often! Joanna

Julie, Thank you for the great song last night at Station Inn. It felt so right. And you are correct where else in the world could you get that kind of entertainment for so little money. It was great meeting you and I will follow you from now on. I bought 2 of you albums, but it appears that the one with last night's song is on re-order. I'll keep checking to see if it becomes available.
Thanks again.

Hi, Julie. We met at 3rd & Lindsley last night. (You all sounded GREAT, by the way.) I'd like to buy Take Me Out to Hear the Band for my sister. (I LOVE that record.) Her birthday is Feb. 28 and I would LOVE to give it to her as a birthday gift. I will check back often to check on the status of your reorder. Thanks again!
